Liverpool FC fans have been warned to be on high alert for signs of a ticket scam as the Reds look set to win the Premier League this weekend.
This has led to an unprecedented clamour for tickets for Anfield for the clash with Spurs - and with that comes the potential for scams.
Jessica Hampson, CEO of Liverpool-based law firm CEL Solicitors, has issued a warning to Reds fans to be on the look-out for bogus offers.
She said: "We all know that football fans are very passionate and sometimes willing to pay over the odds to see their team win a trophy.

"Many of those at Anfield on Sunday will be season-ticket holders, but there will also be non-regulars desperate to see their heroes crowned champions.
PayPal will offer some protection but wiring money to a random bank account can be risky - and does the account info they’re sharing match the name of the person you’re speaking to?”
Scammers put pressure on their victims to force them into making a hasty decision.
Mrs Hampson said: "Always take a minute to consider what's going on - you may well have a gut feeling that something is not right.
Spelling mistakes and bad punctuation are red flags."
Mrs Hampson said: "It's easy to search for the same wording being used on multiple posts, which is a key sign one group is behind a scam.
It will be copy and pasted, with accounts or posts being deleted to cover their tracks.
"It's also worth checking comments underneath a post as someone may have raised concern or published a warning before the scammers have a chance to delete it."
Mrs Hampson said: "Even if you do manage to spot a ticket scam, that's not the end of it.
