Liverpool could be crowned champions at Anfield this weekend

Liverpool fans face the prospect of paying £675 for a ticket if they want to be at Anfield for Sunday's potential Premier League title party.

The Reds only need to avoid defeat against Tottenham to be crowned champions.

The Kop was empty when Liverpool won the Premier League for the one and only time due to Covid restrictions.



They've remained consistent throughout the season and that has allowed them to retain a healthy lead over Arsenal in second.

Arne Slot's side were tipped to struggle in the aftermath of Jurgen Klopp but they've exceeded all expectations to lead the top flight, but the Dutchman is still focused on seeing the job through.

He said: "Everybody is looking forward to Sunday but we know there is still a job to be done, at least one point.

That's what we know and hopefully our fans know as well when they come to the stadium, that they support us in the best possible way they can – which is what they have done the whole season – and are aware of the fact that we still need a point.

"That's something we are definitely aware of here inside this building.

So, it's a nice game to look forward to but it's also a responsibility we have for Sunday."
