Mark Clattenburg and Alan Shearer have offered their verdict on whether Liverpool should have been awarded a penalty deep into the first half against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Hungarian fell after appearing to be kicked on the back of the leg.
Though there were strong claims from the Liverpool players, referee Istvan Kovacs was not interested and waved play on.
"He's had a swipe at him hasn't he, but I'm not sure if there's enough for a penalty to be given there," he said.
Ex-Premier League referee Clattenburg then explained why the on-field referee and VAR didn't give the penalty, adding: "He does get a kick on the back of the thigh, but there seems to be one or two seconds...
he thinks about the contact and goes down and that's what the referee and VAR have seen."
