Liverpool’s to-do list for this summer’s transfer market already has plenty written on it.
The Reds look likely to be busy in the window as they aim to build on what is set to a Premier League-winning campaign.
Centre-forward and left-back are the early areas of focus, with clear improvements possible to make Liverpool even stronger next season.
In another world, the 2025/26 season would have been Calvin Ramsay’s chance to shine.

Back when Ramsay was signed in 2022, he was brought in with the remit of playing back-up to Alexander-Arnold, with the possibility of succeeding him in the future.

A loan move to Kilmarnock in January has seen Ramsay make only one start and it’s clear that he will not make the grade at Anfield.
Ramsay was seen as being ‘special‘ when he was signed and there is obviously a good player in there.
But having missed this golden chance to make the breakthrough at Liverpool, it is unlikely to now ever arrive.
Instead, Ramsay should look to get his career back on track elsewhere.
