The winter transfer window came and went with Liverpool opting to not sign a single player.
With that said, the ECHO has taken a look at the latest transfer headlines from in and around Anfield in the last 24 hours.
Jeremie Frimpong interest
Liverpool reportedly remain interest in Bayer Leverkusen star, Jeremie Frimpong, who is claimed to have a 'gentlemen's agreement' in his deal.
That's according to TEAMtalk who cite that Frimpong would be allowed to leave the German side if a 'specific bid' is lodged.
While Leverkusen might not need to sell, the gentlemen's agreement means that they will have to listen to offers worth €40million (£33m).
The Dutch winger, who is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League, is yet to receive a proposal from the English top-flight, however.
But that could soon change with both Liverpool and Manchester City apparently in the mix for his signature.
Reds eye Colombian wonderkid
Anfield Watch report Liverpool have set their sights on Colombian wonderkid Neiser Villarreal and are 'exploring' his contract situation at Millionarios.
The 19-year-old forward, who came through the Colombian side will be out of contract at the end of December.
As it stands, he is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal, and could be available for a transfer in the summer, should Liverpool not want to wait until the end of the year.
