Liverpool have been offered a hint about what they could expect after being charged by the Football Association.
Slot was shown a red card by referee Michael Oliver after an on-field exchange with the official, with the Liverpool head coach, assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff and both the Reds and the Blues later being handed charges by the FA following an official report by Oliver.
The scenes at the final whistle also saw Abdoulaye Doucoure of Everton and Curtis Jones of Liverpool shown red cards by Oliver.
Both the Reds and the Blues have until Wednesday to respond to the charges presented to them by the FA.

Now it seems that Liverpool have been offered a hint as to what punishment may be coming their way.
On Monday, the FA announced that Arsenal had been slapped with a £65,000 fine following their charge from their win over Wolves on January 25.
The Gunners were charged for the reaction from the players to the red card shown to Myles Lewis-Skelly in the 43rd minute.
The sending off was later rescinded following an appeal by Arsenal, but the club were still charged by the FA for the reaction by several of the players in the reaction to the decision by Oliver, who was also refereeing that game at Molineux last month.

It will still be some time before the outcome of the charges by the FA are announced.
Should Liverpool or Everton be found guilty of the charges then they can be expected to receive fines, and it also remains to be seen if Slot or Hulshoff will be handed touchline bans as a result of their charges.
