Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons.
The Reds were first credited with an interest in signing the Netherlands international last summer before he completed a loan move to the Bundesliga club.
Simons joined Leipzig on loan last summer before the deal was made permanent in January.
The German outfit agreed a deal reportedly worth up to €80million (£66million) for Simons, but just a few weeks later the playmaker is being tipped to join a new club at the end of the season, which may include a move to Anfield.
A fresh update has emerged on Simons' future, claiming that Liverpool could be in the mix to sign the 21-year-old in the summer.
A lot of time in the Bundesliga, before that in the Eredivisie, now the feeling I have is the player could be open to trying something maybe Premier League or La Liga.

"Last summer many clubs started calling for Xavi Simons then he decided to re-join RB Leipzig.
There was Bayern very strong in the mix until the very end, there was interest from England - Arsenal, Liverpool, [Manchester] United - so I think for Xavi in the summer there will be movement, definitely."
