Liverpool have been handed a fresh injury concern ahead of their crucial Premier League meeting with Manchester City this weekend.

The Reds travel to the Etihad on Sunday to face Pep Guardiola’s side.

The game, which will be Liverpool’s third in a week, offers Arne Slot’s side the opportunity to do a league double over the reigning champions, having won 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

City are currently struggling for form, brought about by injuries to some of their key players.

Slot and Liverpool have been lucky with injuries this season.

However, the Reds have been handed a potential injury concern ahead of the trip to the Etihad after Conor Bradley sustained an injury in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Wednesday.

The Northern Ireland defender appeared to have hurt himself while trying to stop a cross late in the game at Villa Park and had to be replaced by Jarell Quansah in the 89th minute.

Slot is expected to provide an update on the defender’s injury during his post-match press briefing.
