Newcastle United chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan has reportedly made his Alexander Isak stance clear amid heavy-handed interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Isak and will not have to wait too long until the market re-opens to conduct any proposed business.

Arsenal are also thought to be interested in Isak's signature - and have been long-term admirers of him.



According to The Mail, the Saudi chief is insistent that Isak "will not be going anywhere", during the summer transfer window.

It's reported that he is "more fond" of Isak than any other player in the Magpies' squad.

While Newcastle have not discussed a selling price for Isak, the message from those above has been clear; Al-Rumayyan and the governor of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund do not want to sell the prolific goal-scorer.

It's been reported, in some circles, that Liverpool have already tried to get ahead of competition by holding talks with Isak's representatives over a deal.
