Club-record signing Olivia Smith impressed against Manchester City but was forced off with a back injury
Olivia Smith scored against Man City on Sunday
Liverpool forward Olivia Smith will be available for this weekend's Women's Super League game against (WSL) Crystal Palace despite being substituted with a back injury against Manchester City.
The Reds' club-record signing was one of the standout performers at Anfield on Sunday, opening the scoring in a 2-1 defeat against the league leaders.
She was a constant outlet for the hosts in the first-half but had to be withdrawn at the break due to a back injury, with her replacement Mia Enderby unable to replicate the same level of attacking threat.

Liverpool went on to suffer their first WSL defeat of the season thanks to a superb brace from City's Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw after the restart.
However, the Reds have been handed a boost ahead of their clash with Palace, with Smith set to be available to feature at St Helens Stadium on Sunday.

"Smithy is fine now.
She got a whack on the back in the box and then when she got caught after her strike for the goal it just jarred her back again," said Reds boss Matt Beard.
?
"She was uncomfortable at a point to run so we needed to see the bigger picture and it was just one of those unfortunate things.
She trained partly on Wednesday and will be in full training tomorrow (Friday) and is available for Sunday."
Beard also confirmed that midfielder Ceri Holland, who has missed Liverpool's last two league games with a foot injury, is due to return to team training on Friday, while defender Grace Fisk is also back with the group.
"Holland will be back training with the group on Friday and Fisky is also back in training, but we will play it by ear with her," Beard told liverpoolfc.com.
?
“Unders (Chris Underwood) has done a great job with Fisky because of how tender her foot was, so he has done a lot of work on other areas to get her up to speed.
