Former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher believes that Liverpool were fortunate not to give away a first-half penalty during Sunday's 3-2 defeat at Fulham.
However, it could have been much worse for Liverpool.

This is because Fulham felt they should have been awarded a penalty for Caoimhin Kelleher's challenge on Andreas Pereira.
After Ibrahima Konate dallied on the ball, Pereira pounced, and as he tried to square the ball across to Muniz, Kelleher came flying out and appeared to catch the Fulham man, who went crashing down.
In the end, Liverpool defended the situation after Virgil van Dijk and Muniz clashed, and on-field referee Chris Kavanagh felt no reason to penalise Kelleher and didn't give a penalty.
VAR, meanwhile, confirmed the decision to be correct and felt that the challenge was a 'coming together' and 'not reckless'.
But Gallagher feels that Kavanagh made the wrong decision and Fulham should have been given a spot-kick.
Speaking on Sky Sports' Ref Watch, he said: "The referee felt like both players collided.
"You know my theory about goalkeepers coming out like this, I always say if the keeper goes with his legs he becomes an outfield player.
It's clumsy."

Meanwhile, another former Premier League referee, this time Keith Hackett, also felt that Liverpool were fortunate and Kelleher should have been penalised.
He told Football Insider: "Is there any wonder that the Fulham manager is jumping up and down in the technical area?
