Liverpool have seen a handful of young players impress while out on-loan this season.
It can be an incredibly tall order for players coming from academy teams to get match experience while the Reds are in such good shape.
As a result, the best scenario is often to get them set up at another club in order to get senior minutes under their belts.
From there, they can take their development back to Liverpool and hopefully stake a claim for involvement in the first-team.
One who has done this especially well in 2024/25 has been Owen Beck.
With Liverpool on the lookout for a new left-back in 2025/26, Beck has caught the eye at Blackburn Rovers.
But while the 22-year-old may be dreaming of involvement under Arne Slot next season, he is not the only young left-back worth keeping an eye on.
21-year-old James Norris is set to get his own chance after agreeing to a new loan deal.

Norris is perhaps a young player who has gone under the radar a little at Liverpool recently.
However, he did relatively well while at Tranmere Rovers last season and has featured on the bench four times this term under Slot.

Norris looked set for a chance against Girona in the Champions League in December, but ultimately did not get off the bench.
Fast forward to February, and as per journalist James Pearce the full-back is set to join Irish Premier Division team Shelbourne.

“Liverpool youngster James Norris set to join League of Ireland Premier Division outfit Shelbourne on loan for the rest of the season,” says Pearce.
Norris has two first-team appearances for Liverpool, coming in the Carabao Cup in 2019 and the FA Cup in 2022.
Norris’ chances in matchday parties this season have all come when the Liverpool squad has been rotated heavily.
His first involvement was against Girona, before he also travelled for the games against Southampton in the Carabao Cup, PSV Eindhoven and Plymouth.
It does bode well for Norris that he is being considered amongst the group of academy players a step or two away from the first-team.
However, with respect to Shelbourne, the level of the loan club chosen for Norris suggests that he is a lot further away than may initially appear.
Liverpool will likely buy a left-back in the summer and with Beck well ahead of him in terms of development, it seems unlikely that Norris will ever make it at Anfield.
Still, it’s amazing what a good loan can do.
