Alexander-Arnold has yet to agree a contract extension with Liverpool like Van Dijk and Salah, although his cameo will give Slot food for thought as he considers his XI for the clash with Tottenham on Sunday.

Tyler Morton has also returned to fitness but is still waiting for his first appearance since January.
Some supporters were concerned over the fitness of Federico Chiesa after he was not named in the squad for the clash with Leicester.
