Liverpool could have to sign a right-back for the first time in three years this summer if Trent Alexander-Arnold decides to leave the club.
Calvin Ramsay was the last right-sided defender the club signed, paying Aberdeen an initial free worth just over £4million in the summer of 2022.
However, injuries limited the one-time Scotland international to only a pair of appearances for the Reds during his debut season.
Conor Bradley, meanwhile, spent that season on loan at Bolton Wanderers in League One, being named their player of the season.
Since then, Ramsay has spent spells from the club on loan at Bolton, Preston North End, Wigan Athletic and now Kilmarnock, with Bradley becoming the backup to Alexander-Arnold.
The Northern Ireland international has more than merely deputized at right-back in approaching 50 first-team appearances.

So much so that Bradley would likely replace the club's vice-captain should he leave this summer amid interest from Real Madrid.
However, the Reds may also look to add to their right-back ranks during the summer if Alexander-Arnold does indeed depart.
One option that Arne Slot knows well is Givario Read.
During an interview with the Dutch magazine Voetbal International - translated into English - in mid-January, he said of Slot: "I think it's great that he's performing so well at Liverpool, and it doesn't surprise me."
However, he reserved particular praise for Slot's first assistant coach, saying: "I like it most when I see Sipke Hulshoff sitting next to Slot.
