Liverpool's Joe Gomez faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after tests revealed he has damaged his hamstring.
Gomez, 27, was forced off hurt after just 11 minutes of Liverpool ’s shock FA Cup loss at Plymouth on Sunday.
The England defender, who has made just 17 appearances this season under Arne Slot, has a hamstring injury and will have further tests to discover how long he will be crocked.
Liverpool were already without young midfielder Tyler Morton, who has been struggling with a shoulder injury.
They were able to welcome back Trent Alexander-Arnold against Everton, though, with the right-back playing the final half-hour after two games out.
Ahead of that Everton game, manager Arne Slot had confirmed Gomez's latest injury was on the same leg he'd had trouble with before his latest comeback.
That comeback lasted just 11 minutes, though.

With the occasion, it just feels special?
Everyone should be disappointed on the last part of this game but from tomorrow the focus will be on recovery.
"The main thing for us is to completely focus on ourselves, and as fans as well, don't look at what others are doing and writing, just focus on us.
