Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Joshua Kimmich on a free transfer in the summer.

The Reds, who are currently battling to renew the contracts of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, have set their sights on taking the Bayern Munich man on a free transfer in the summer.

The 29-year-old is out of contract with the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season and could leave on a free transfer.

The German international, who is equally comfortable at right-back or in a defensive midfield role, will become a free agent at the end of June.

Whilst an extension to his current deal at the Allianz has not completely been ruled out, the 29-year-old can sign a pre-contract agreement with interested suitors now that the transfer window is open.

According to the latest report from Germany, Liverpool are ready to take advantage.
