Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has decided to leave punditry for good despite admitting last year that he would 'never retire' from the job.
After a glittering career which saw him win five top flight titles, three European Cups and numerous other silverware, Souness transitioned into management.
In 2006, he left his final managerial job with Newcastle United and transitioned into punditry becoming a regular on Sky Sports' coverage of the Premier League.
However, this season has been quieter and many thought that Souness had transitioned away from a life in the public spotlight.

In March 2024, Souness told The Telegraph that he had no ambition to retire from football.
"I will never retire," he said.
"I will be retired when the phone stops ringing." When asked what makes a good pundit, the former midfielder added: "Be honest.
"I know we have to be very careful with what words we choose now, but to be as honest as you possibly can, consistently.
And just be real - that is becoming more and more difficult for the guys who are doing it now."
Just over a year later, Souness appears to have backtracked from that stance and is now happy to enjoy his retirement.
"I’m too old for all that punditry," he has told The Telegraph in a recent interview.
"My mum once said to me: ‘Son, wherever you are, there’s never a dull moment.’ And I’ve not let her down.
"But I’ve moved on [from punditry work].
