Alisson Becker is on his way back to England to be assessed by Liverpool's medical staff after he was involved in a clash of heads during Brazil's draw with Colombia.

Alisson was taken off during the game and the decision has been taken for him to return to his club.

"Alisson Becker has departed the Brazil national team set-up and will return to Liverpool," a Liverpool statement said.



Alisson is travelling back to Merseyside and will undergo assessment from the Reds' medical staff."
