Liverpool are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi this summer amid uncertainty over Virgil van Dijk's future at the club, reports claim.
The Reds are enjoying a fantastic first season under new head coach Arne Slot as they close in on a 20th league title.
Despite falling short against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 this week, they are also gearing up for a Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at Wembley on Sunday.
That being said, the positivity around Anfield this term has been somewhat overshadowed by looming contract questions.
All of Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold are still currently set to become free agents in the summer when their contracts at Anfield expire and all appear no closer to committing their futures to the Merseyside club.

Ahead of what could be a significant summer for Liverpool, The Mirror is now reporting that they are leading the race to sign Guehi from Palace in the coming months.
The 24-year-old has been linked with numerous Premier League clubs over the last 12 months, including Newcastle United and Chelsea.
However, it has now been suggested that Anfield is Guehi's preferred destination this summer and a deal is expected to be struck in the next transfer window.
Newcastle are aware of the player's desire to join Liverpool, leaving Chelsea as the leading rival for his signature, it adds.
The report does also note that there could be late interest from the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham.
But, Liverpool are said to be in pole position to land his signature, with Guehi's contract at Palace set to expire in the summer of 2026.
Van Dijk addressed his own future earlier this week following Liverpool's exit from the Champions League.
