Liverpool are preparing for a major summer shake-up.

Liverpool leading race to sign defender

24-year-old Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been on Liverpool’s radar for some time.

And according to The Mirror, “a deal to take Guehi to Anfield is expected to be struck in the summer.”

His contract runs until June 2026, but Liverpool are pushing to bring him to Anfield this summer.

He is seen as a potential long-term replacement for Van Dijk.

Van Dijk himself has admitted his future is uncertain.

Speaking about his contract situation, he said, “I have no idea.

Listen, there are ten games to go, and that is my full focus.”

Guehi’s rise has not gone unnoticed.

He became a regular for England last year and was recently called up again by Thomas Tuchel for their World Cup qualifiers.

Liverpool are pushing hard to finalize the deal, and unless there’s a late twist, Guehi could soon be wearing the famous red shirt.
