Liverpool have been handed an update on their chances of signing Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
The Reds have been credited with an interest in signing the 25-year-old in recent weeks, with reports suggesting a move in the summer is on the cards.
It's not just Liverpool that have been linked with signing Isak, though.
As well as reporting that Liverpool are interested in a move this summer, other outlets have suggested that Newcastle would demand a fee between £100million and £150million to sanction the exit of their star striker.

Now a fresh update has emerged about Isak's future, which may hand Liverpool a blow in their hopes of signing the forward.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle have no plans to allow any of their key players to leave the club in the summer, which will include Isak.
The report claims that Newcastle are optimistic about their financial situation going into the summer transfer window, believing they are under no pressure to raise funds from player sales.
It has been reported that, regardless of if the Magpies qualify for Europe for next season, they are resolute in their stance that the likes of Isak will not leave the club in the summer.

As well as Isak, Newcastle duo Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimaraes are mentioned in the report as being key players for the club's future.
Gordon was linked with Liverpool last summer before going on to sign a new deal to remain on Tyneside.
