Liverpool icon Graeme Souness has hung up his punditry boots for good, despite declaring last year that he would 'never retire' from the role.
Following an illustrious playing career that included five top-flight titles, three European Cups, and a host of other trophies, Souness made the switch to management.
He departed his last managerial position at Newcastle United in 2006 and moved into punditry, becoming a staple on Sky Sports' Premier League broadcasts.
At the end of the 2022/23 season, the 71 year old left the broadcaster and stepped back from his punditry duties.
Souness continued to make appearances on talkSPORT and was part of ITV's team in Berlin for the European Championships last summer.

However, just over a year on, Souness seems to have reversed his previous position and is now content to embrace retirement.
