Jurgen Klopp has now officially begun his new job as Red Bull's 'Global Head of Soccer', a little over seven months after leaving his role as Liverpool manager.

The German guided the Reds to several major honours during his nine years at Anfield, including the Premier League and Champions League.

He also won the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup and two Carabao Cup trophies.

In January last year, Klopp dropped the bombshell announcement he would depart the club at the end of the 2023/24 season, citing the fact he was running out of energy as a key reason for his decision.

Liverpool ultimately fell short in the Premier League title race last term, but Klopp did end his time at Anfield with a trophy in the form of the Carabao Cup.

After an extended break, it was announced in October that Klopp would return to football in the New Year.

However, it is not in the dug out as he takes on a senior role with Red Bull.

Also in October, Klopp was announced as a new brand ambassador for travel company Trivago.

The financial publication Sport previously revealed that Klopp's yearly take-home pay during his time at Anfield was an impressive £18.5m.

Not only that, according to Celebrity Net Worth, the German's current net worth is a staggering £41.8million ($50million).

Klopp will oversee the likes of RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls, amongst other teams, as he begins life in his new job.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are now led by former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot as they sit at the top of the Premier League and Champions League at the midway point of the current season.
