Darwin Nunez is reportedly likely to leave Liverpool this summer and the club are said to already have a replacement lined up for the Uruguayan striker.
Romano adds that Liverpool are in the mix for Arsenal target Alexander Isak as a potential replacement for Nunez - but Newcastle United will require a bid in excess of £67m to even consider parting ways with the Sweden international.
"The priority target for Arsenal but also Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation of Alexander Isak," Romano said on his YouTube channel.
"So for sure, Liverpool and Arsenal will be in the mix for the player and it really depends on Newcastle and what they want to do in terms of price for the player.
Forget about €70-€80m (£58m-£67m), it must be more than this to convince Newcastle but Arsenal and Liverpool will be there
But remember what I told you about Darwin Nunez, he is expected to leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window
