Another player whose future is up in the air is Luis Diaz, and the club is said to have made a decision.

Diaz has been linked to Barcelona since almost the day he arrived at Liverpool, speculation his own father has done nothing to quell.

Indeed, we reported recently on claims that Diaz has even offered himself to Barcelona.



With Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes already gearing up for a transfer window that will determine the direction of Slot's team for years to come, it's a move that does not feel entirely implausible.

However, according to Give Me Sport, Slot is not willing to entertain offers for Diaz.

Against that less than reassuring backdrop at his dream club, and with Liverpool going so well in the Premier League and Champions League, Slot should fancy his chances of being able to make a convincing pitch to Diaz — not to mention the fact that he'd also be in line for a significant salary hike, having not signed a new deal since he first joined from Porto on relatively modest terms
