ANFIELD, LIVERPOOL — Liverpool Women produced a clinical performance in front of goal to beat Manchester United in the Women's Super League (WSL), with Olivia Smith starring as the Reds won at Anfield for the first time.
Liverpool, who parted ways with manager Matt Beard at the end of last month, has now won each of its three games under its interim boss Amber Whiteley.

Canadian forward Smith, who became the first Liverpool women's player to score at Anfield last October, beat two players out wide and smashed a shot into the far corner of the USWNT's Phallon Tullis-Joyce's goal.
