The curtain appears to be lowering on Trent Alexander-Arnold's time at Liverpool, with a summer transfer to Real Madrid looking increasingly likely.

Speculation about his future has been rampant for months, with Los Blancos spending much of the season working toward securing the 26-year-old, whose contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.

Although no official deal has been finalised, sources suggest that an agreement between Real Madrid and Alexander-Arnold is nearly done.



This ongoing transfer saga has dominated headlines for months, but in reality, the wheels may have been set in motion well over a year ago.

According to Sky Sports Switzerland, Alexander-Arnold decided to leave Liverpool following Jurgen Klopp's unexpected resignation.
