Liverpool midfielder Luca Stephenson is open to a permanent move to Dundee United after a successful loan spell at the Scottish Premiership side.
Stephenson is spending the season at the Terrors after making his senior breakthrough with the Reds on their US tour last summer.
The 21-year-old, who has been at Liverpool since under-15 level, has featured in every game for the Tannadice outfit since making the move north of the border with his versatility having seen him play in six positions across midfield and defence during 31 appearances so far this campaign.
Stephenson has become a popular member of the squad with Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin last week expressing his desire to extend the player's stay at the club.

And with the youngster soon to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Liverpool, talks have already taken place over a potential return to Dundee United once his present loan expires.
"I’ve been in a little bit of conversation," said Stephenson.
"I don’t 100% know yet, I’ll have one year left on my deal at Liverpool next year.
“So there’s a conversation to be had there of whether there’ll be a new contract on the table down there or not.
“Then it’s probably just about early summer time – as soon as our season finishes – having a look at what’s best for me, whether it’s back here, whether it’s backing out of Liverpool to play somewhere else."
Speaking to The Courier, Stephenson added: “It’s something I try not to get too involved in while the games are still going on – I just focus on playing.
Then when I’ve got that break, I’ll have more of an in-depth think about it.

“I don’t know as yet, but the conversations are certainly starting.”
Meanwhile, reports in Sweden have claimed top tier side Utsiktens BK are close to agreeing a deal to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Jan Ojrzynski on loan until the summer.
The 22-year-old has had loan spells in Holland, his native Poland and Wales in recent seasons.
Ojrzynski has made the first-team bench for Liverpool once but hasn't featured for the club at any level in almost four years.
