Liverpool have been named one of the clubs interested in singing one of Serbia’s most promising rising talents.

The Reds remain one of the choicest clubs for rising stars in Europe despite the abundance of quality senior players in the club.

In the last transfer window, Liverpool were able to recruit the highly-rated duo of Rio Ngumoha and Alvin Ayman from Cheslea and Wolves, respectively.

They have set their sights on signing another top-quality youngster, according to the latest reports from Germany.

Who are Liverpool considering?

According to Sky Sports Germany’s Patrick Berger, Liverpool is among the few top European clubs monitoring Serbian international Andrija Maksimovic.

The Red Star Belgrad midfielder, who recently turned 17, is one of Serbia’s most promising players.

He became Serbia’s youngest-ever debutant last weekend when he came on as a substitute for Aleksandar Mitrovi? in the 74th minute in Serbia’s 2–0 win over Switzerland.

Maksimovic is enjoying a standout campaign in the second tier of Serbia’s professional football league.

Borussia Dortmund are currently in the lead for his signature, while Juventus and Manchester City are also interested and watching with keen interest.

Despite Borussia Dortmund’s interest, there are no concrete interest talks with the German side and the player yet.
