Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the situation of Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal amid the Nou Camp club's financial situaiton.
Barcelona's well-documented issues has led to speculation that Yamal, who has burst onto the scene in the last couple of years, could leave the club with his contract up next year.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, based in Barcelona, reports that Liverpool and their Premier League rivals Manchester City are 'monitoring' the situation but Yamal's preference is to remain in his homeland of Catalonia.
It is claimed that Barcelona have lined up mid-July, when Yamal will turn 18, to formalise a new deal.
Liverpool are eyeing a potential summer move for West Ham star Jarrod Bowen as an alternative to Alexander Isak.
Football Insider report that the England international is high on the list of targets, and his ability to play both on the wing and as central striker is one of the reasons.
Bowen is said to be a long-term target for Liverpool, although West Ham are unlikely to let him go without a fight.
The 28-year-old is club captain and will have five years remaining on his contract at the end of the season.

However, it is said that a lack of European football at the London Stadium could mean that he would be tempted to move to Liverpool.
