$131M Rodrygo move plotted

Liverpool is plotting a $131M (€120M) move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo this summer, according to Fichajes.

It's claimed that the Reds are willing to launch a "big financial effort" to convince Real to part ways with the Brazilian as they eye up a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Rodrygo though is said to be not considering an exit, and is eager to leave a bigger mark at the Bernabeu.

Dean Huijsen has addressed recent transfer links with Real Madrid, admitting it is an 'honor' to be linked with the Spanish giant.

Julian Alvarez stance

Football Insider has backed up recent claims that Liverpool has been keeping a close eye on Julian Alvarez ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Reds made a play to sign Alvarez last summer from Manchester City, although a deal was never reached, resulting in the striker moving to Atletico Madrid instead.

It has been suggested that Liverpool could revisit its interest, athough this latest report claims Alvarez is settled and happy in Madrid, and is not looking to leave the club this summer.

Xavi Simons hijack

Liverpool is willing to meet RB Leipzig's valuation of Xavi Simons, and hijack a Manchester United deal to sign him, according to Fichajes.

Both clubs are said to be interested in the Netherlands international, with the Reds claimed to be eyeing him up as a replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Leipzig is unwilling to let Simons go for less than $87M, but Liverpool is apparently willing to make the effort to secure his signing.

Alisson breaks silence after Liverpool statement

Liverpool's goalkeeper Alisson has provided an update on his condition after suffering a head injury during Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Colombia.

He shared an update on his condition via Instagram, assuring fans that he's "fine" and just needs to follow the relevant protocols.

Alexander-Arnold move '99 per cent done'

Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly closing in on a move to Real Madrid, with Caught Offside suggesting Liverpool has given up hope of keeping its vice-captain.

It's suggested that negotiations over a move to the Bernabeu are '99 per cent' done, with Alexander-Arnold set to head to Spain as a free agent at the end of his contract at Anfield.

Arne Slot is said to have tried to tempt Alexander-Arnold to remain at the club by talking up the prospect of him becoming an even bigger legend at Liverpool and potentially captaining the club in the future, but he has been unable to convince the 26-year-old to stay.

Isak denies contract talk

Alexander Isak has insisted he has held no discussions over a new contract at Newcastle yet, amid transfer links with Liverpool and Arsenal.

Speaking to Fotbollskanalen.se (via ChronicleLive), Isak said:
