Liverpool team news vs Wolves

Liverpool will be without three players for the Premier League meeting with Wolves, and Cody Gakpo could also miss the game after coming off with an injury against Everton.

The Reds will definitely be without Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton, with Jones suspended after his red card at Goodison Park, and Gomez and Morton out due to injury.

Gomez sustained a hamstring injury during the FA Cup loss to Plymouth Argyle last weekend, while Morton is sidelined with a shoulder problem.

Issuing an injury update in his pre-match press conference, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said: "We saw Trent [Alexander-Arnold], of course, being able to play [after missing the cup games against Spurs and Plymouth].

It was the intention to play around half an hour, I think he played somewhere around half an hour, so he will be training with us again.

"Joe Gomez is out and Tyler Morton is out.

I had to take him off because of an injury, because he got a knock, so let's see how he is today."
