Liverpool took another big step toward the Premier League title yesterday as it recorded a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Anfield.

Dominik Szoboszlai scored in the first half before fellow midfielder Alexis Mac Allister netted after the break to give Arne Slot's men breathing room.

The Reds now lead Arsenal in second place by 13 points after the Gunners were held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.



Liverpool has 10 league games left to play and 21 more points would be enough to guarantee the title.
