Robertson's worrying update

Andy Robertson has admitted his fellow defender Trent Alexander is not in a good headspace after what has been a difficult few weeks for the Liverpool star due to speculation surrounding his future and the injury he sustained against Paris Saint-Germain.

“Trent’s head is not great because he’s injured.

He hates being injured, none of us like being injured but it hurts Trent a little bit more,” said the Scotland captain after the 1-0 win over Everton.

“That’s all he is focused on.

People can talk and speculate but for us we want Trent back very soon.”

“But we have to stay focused.

If the time comes we will be sure to enjoy it, but we are not thinking that far ahead.”
