Arne Slot faces the media on Friday possibly for the last time as a non-Premier League winner.
In truth, it's more probably than possibly given the Reds have lost just one league home all season, visitors Tottenham Hotspur sit in 16th and it's over two months since it last earned a Premier League win against a side not currently in the bottom three.
Chuck in that the atmosphere inside Anfield will be electric on Sunday, and it is difficult to image any other outcome than the title heading to Merseyside. Liverpool just needs a point to secure top spot following Arsenal's slip-up at home to Crystal Palace in midweek.
On the off chance that it isn't determined on Sunday, with Liverpool needing just one point from its last five matches, there's no doubt where the title will ultimately end up.
Meanwhile, Slot could also give an update on Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract situation, his thoughts on Spurs and provide a team news update.

Arne Slot: More to come at Liverpool after Premier League title
Liverpool could wrap up the Premier League title with four games to spare when they face Spurs at Anfield on Sunday — but head coach Arne Slot has warned his rivals that the best is yet to come.
When he was asked ahead of the game if there are still more improvements to be made, Slot said: "Yeah, yeah, definitely. I have always said that as a manager, everywhere around the world, everyone wants to achieve perfection.
"That will probably never work out, but even in the last few weeks, we are still trying to get better in certain things. Keeping the standards as high as we had them for the whole season.
"So yeah, close maybe in some parts of the season or in some games, but in other moments we have to do much better."

Liverpool loses to Man City
Liverpool U21s have crashed out of the Premier League 2 play-offs, losing in extra time to Manchester City.
Divin Mubana scored his second goal of the game in extra time, meaning the young Reds' campaign is over.

Liverpool U21s going to extra-time
It's finished 1-1 in Manchester, with Tommy Pilling netting an equalizer in the second half. Extra-time awaits!
Liverpool U21s in action
Liverpool U21s are facing Manchester City U21s at the moment in the Premier League 2 play-offs, with Rio Ngumoha and James McConnell both in the starting XI.
However, it's half-time and Manchester City is leading. Divin Mubama opened the scoring on 19 minutes and it's 1-0 to the host at the break at the Etihad Campus.

Alexis Mac Allister's Jude Bellingham surprise
Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister is a big fan of Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham. And the Argentine has ranked him ahead of a couple of other elite players who play in a similar position.
"[Jamal] Musiala, I played against him in a friendly in my first season at Liverpool," Mac Allister, who Jamie Carragher has put in his Premier League team of the season, told Sky Sports. "Really good player. Quick, fantastic skills, very good [technically].
"Pedri I think is in a very good moment right now. And Jude [Bellingham], of course I knew before that he was a really good player, but when I played against Real Madrid, I could see why. I was really surprised; physically he was really good, and his mentality as well, I think everyone can see.
"I'm going to put Jude first, Pedri second and Musiala third. [Bellingham and Pedri] are midfield players and Musiala is more an attacking player. Musiala can score and assist more than the others, but the highest ceiling I would say is Jude. That's why he is first."

Liverpool vs Spurs prediction
You've got to fancy Liverpool to win this weekend, haven't you?
The Reds need just a point against Tottenham this Sunday but they haven't lost to Spurs since 2011.
I'm going for a 3-0 win for Arne Slot's men. And you can let us know your score predictions in the comments section!

Kaide Gordon's season over?
Kaide Gordon won't be playing again this season with Portsmouth keen to field players who will be a part of its future plans.
The Liverpool loanee has had a frustrating year with only one Championship start, which came for Norwich in November. Gordon has managed just 296 minutes across the campaign.
"Kaide and Mark [O’Mahony, on loan from Brighton] have taken it really well," Portsmouth manager John Mousinho told reporters.
"I have tried to be honest with them about what I think they can do better with performances and why they have found themselves out of the squad.
"Some of it is about a bit of luck as well, with it also being crunch time at this time of the season. We’re just going to have to make decisions which we think are going to help the team."

Tottenham dealt Son blow
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Son Heung-min will be missing for Tottenham for Sunday's game at Anfield.
The South Korean, who has managed just seven league goals this season, has missed the last three games due to a knock and Postecoglou confirmed on Friday that run will stretch to four matches:
Sonny is improving which is a positive for us, not for Sunday. Everyone else from the last game is fine. We'll see [if Son will be ready for Thursday]. First time on the grass today and he said it felt better.

Liverpool could have Huijsen and Kerkez trump card
Liverpool may well hold a trump card in the race to sign Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen this summer.
As we've already mentioned, Chelsea is said to be leading the race for Huijsen, and while the Reds are seen as the favorites for Kerkez, Manchester United has also been linked with the left-back.
Liverpool though might have one or two bargaining tools up its sleeve. According to the Mail, Bournemouth is keeping close tabs on Caoimhin Kelleher, Harvey Elliott and Ben Doak, which might well help the Reds' efforts in signing Kerkez and Huijsen.

Mohammed Kudus offer
West Ham would be prepared to accept offers of $93 million should Liverpool choose to make a move for Mohammed Kudus, according to Football Insider.
It's claimed that the 24-year-old is "firmly" on the Reds' radar, and while he has a $107M (£80M) release clause, the Hammers could let him go for less if an offer is made.
What's more, it's suggested that Liverpool could cash in on the likes of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota to help raise funds for the move.

Wesley Franca agents in UK
Liverpool and Manchester City could be about to battle it out for the signing of a Brazilian star, with Wesley Franca potentially lined up as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Reports in Brazil are claiming both sides are interested in the Flamengo ace. What’s more, it seems the defender’s agents have flown over to the UK to speak to potential suitors.
Journalist Bruno Lemos has suggested that the 21-year-old is being “coveted” by Liverpool, while also sharing pictures from the player’s representatives showing them in the UK. It’s also claimed that Manchester United is in the mix for his signature.
RTI Esporte delves deeper into the agents’ trip, stating that they will have meetings with Premier League clubs, with Liverpool and City mentioned as Franca’s suitors. The former is claimed to be “one of the strongest names in the race” to sign the fullback, with Franca’s agents looking to open negotiations with interested parties.

Alexander-Arnold 'in final stages'
In other news, journalist Fabrizio Romano has reiterated earlier claims that Trent Alexander-Arnold's move to Real Madrid is in its 'final stages'.
The full-back was the hero for the Reds in their recent 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. His exuberant celebration with the away fans sparked rumors that he might be staying put at Anfield.
This comes amid speculation about the future of Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti. However, Romano insists that there have been no changes concerning the player's future.
On his Youtube channel, he shared: "What I can tell you on Trent Alexander-Arnold is the situation is still exactly the same between Trent, Liverpool and Real Madrid. The deal for Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid is at the final stages. Just waiting for the formal steps, just waiting to sign all the contracts, just waiting to complete all the documents.

Dean Huijsen twist
The race to sign Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen this summer is 'wide open', according to Sky Sports, with Liverpool among seven clubs reportedly interested in the 20-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Spanish international has impressed with his performances for the Cherries. Reports earlier this week suggested that Chelsea were leading the chase for his signature, but it appears other clubs are ready to challenge them.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all reportedly eyeing up the player who has a $66.5 million (£50M) release clause in his contract. Florian Plettenberg adds that this clause can be paid in three instalments, an option that could appeal to Premier League clubs, given the PSR considerations.
If Real Madrid were to make an official bid, it's reported that Huijsen would favour them. However, the lure of Champions League football is also said to be a significant factor, something Liverpool can offer.

Slot dismisses Nunez clause theory
Arne Slot has dismissed reports from Portugal that Darwin Nunez is no longer starting for Liverpool due to a clause in his contract, insisting that no discussions have taken place with Richard Hughes over the striker’s role.
Claims coming out of Portugal in recent days have suggested that Nunez has found himself out of the starting XI due to Liverpool trying to avoid making a payment to his former club Benfica.
According to A Bola (via Sport Witness), the Reds would have to pay the Lisbon club €5 million ($5.7M) once Nunez makes his 60th start across the Premier League and Champions League. The Uruguayan currently stands on 59 starts.
Speaking at his press conference earlier though, Slot dismissed the suggestions:
Do you always believe what journalists say? Not always? Me neither

That's your Slot
That's it from the Liverpool boss, but we'll have plenty more from him throughout the day as we look ahead to Sunday's game against Tottenham, so stick with us...
On Joe Gomez injury
If his recovery goes well, he would be able to in the last one or two games of the season, but he's still not training with us yet, but he's coming closer and closer to playing with the team.
I think he will be available in the last one, two or three games if his recovery goes the way as planned.
On reports Nunez won't start to avoid Benfica payment
Do you always believe what journalists say? Not always? Me neither.
Sometimes it is better not to believe everything that is written about players, so it's completely new to me.
The last thing I expect him (Richard Hughes) to tell me is 'if you play him, it will cost this much'. I don't even know if it's true or not because we never talk about that.
On Bradley's next steps
It's going to be very important for him to become an even better player than he is now, to play many games in a row. Unfortunately for him, there's another full-back at this club that's world class in Trent Alexander-Arnold.
That's probably the only reason he hasn't played back-to-back-to-back games, because he definitely has the quality to do so, and I think that is the next step in his development, to play every week without feeling the pressure to step up.
But as long as Trent is here, it's going to be a difficult step for him to take, but they are both very good full-backs.
Is Conor Bradley ready for 90 minutes?
That depends on the next two sessions, but he's getting closer and closer to 90 minutes.
Let's wait and see how he does today and tomorrow.
Can he enjoy Sunday?
I enjoy going to Anfield every single day, but the moment the referee blows his whistle, the focus is on trying to get the win over the line.
The moment you enjoy is when you walk off the pitch, but then you see one or two players who aren't as happy because they haven't played, so that has to be managed again, so it's really three of four minutes where you're happy, and then 'normal' manager life starts again.
On claims the Premier League isn't as strong
Everyone can have their own opinion. A nice thing in life is if youhave your opinion, you can share it with everyone, and that's a positive thing to have.
You might have a different opinion, that's the nice thing about the world we live in.
It's difficult, because I've only been here for a year, so I can only tell you what I've experienced this season. I think it's never been as exciting for a top four, top five finish because in years before, it was quite clear which clubs would get the first three or four positions.
In my opinion, it's a real difficult league. There's never been an easy game, but maybe that tells you something about us.
On whether he thought the title was possible
I've said many times when you come in, in the first days you're here, you just look around and then you start to work with your players.
Then, if you walk through this door, you know the expectation - this club has to win trophies.
The good thing is most managers work here a long time, so you have a lot of chances to win something. You're aware of that, but it's not the first thing you think of when you walk through the door.
On Tottenham game plan
You can always be surprised by a manager's game plan. It would be a bit weird to change your game style at the end of the season.
I think the big picture is clear for Ange and me.
On whether he's thought about the history he'll make
No. I get these questions, but it's the last thing you think of as a manager at this moment in time.
I noticed last week how hard it is to win a game, so I'm not getting carried away.
On managing the emotion
Yeah, but first a game to be played against a Tottenham side that is playing for something special. Maybe not in the league, but in the Europa League.
We will try to prepare the team in the same way we've done all season.
On looking forward to Sunday
First of all, that's a big responsibility because we're aware the last time this club won, it was Covid time, so everybody is looking forward to Sunday.
But we know there is still a job to be done, and hopefully the fans know that as well, and they support us the way they have done the whole season.
Slot on watching Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
Different. We watched it all together, before the game I would have been surprised if it ended in a draw, during the game I wasn't that surprised because Palace showed what this league is all about.
In the end, maybe not a surprising result.
Here's Slot
Here is the Liverpool boss, and we're getting underway with the press conference...
Five-minute warning
Slot is expected imminently. Make sure to stay across our blog for what he has to say ahead of the Spurs clash.

What Liverpool needs to be champions
A reminder if you’ve forgotten, Liverpool just needs one more point to be crowned Premier League champions. Arsenal’s midweek slip-up against Crystal Palace - the sixth time in the last nine it has failed to win - means the Gunners can only now match Liverpool’s points tally for the campaign. Just one more point and Arsenal can no longer catch Slot’s side.
