Gittens wants to leave Dortmund amid Liverpool links

Jamie Gittens is believed to want to leave Borussia Dortmund as he feels he is ready to take the next step in his career.

The 20-year-old has been at Dortmund since 2020, emerging as an important first-team player over the last couple of seasons.

However, after an impressive start to the 2024-25 campaign, Gittens has lost his place in the Dortmund team in recent weeks, starting just one of the last six games in the Bundesliga.

Over the first 17 Bundesliga games of the seasons, Gittens registered seven goals and four assists, but he has managed just a single goal and failed to record an assist in the last 11 games.

Gittens is reportedly attracting "significant interest" from clubs in the Premier League, with Liverpool among the clubs linked, while Bayern Munich is also monitoring the youngster's situation.
