The Premier League title is moving closer and closer to Anfield after yet another good night for Liverpool on Wednesday.

The Reds’ lead at the top of the table has grown once again after a 2-0 win over Newcastle at Anfield, thanks to goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

The result ensured Arne Slot’s team made the most of another slip-up from Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta’s side being held to a goalless draw at Nottingham Forest.

Those latest twists mean Liverpool’s lead in the title race now stands at 13 points, and although Arsenal does hold a game in hand, it does look to be turning into something of a procession for the Reds.

Arsenal March 9: Manchester United (A) March 16: Chelsea (H) April 1: Fulham (H) April 5: Everton (A) April 12: Brentford (H)

And a trip to a rejuvenated Everton under David Moyes looks like the exact sort of game that could see the Gunners come unstuck
