Liverpool have announced a loan departure from the club, almost two months after the winter transfer window closed in the UK.
The Reds sent several players out on loan in the summer and during the January transfer window.
The likes of Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Luca Stephenson, Kaide Gordon, Lewis Koumas and Calvi Ramsey are all plying their trades outside Anfield, while still being linked with the club.
Bajcetic, for example, is in his second spell on the campaign, having seen his initial loan move to RB Salzburg cut short after former head-coach Pep Leinjers was sacked.
The Spanish midfielder is now at Las Palmas, where he has flourished in a dual role as both a defensive midfielder and center-back.
Another Liverpool player, who left on loan earlier this season, is now set for his second loan spell this campaign.
The player in question is Jakub Ojrzynski, who has completed a loan move to Swedish side Utsiktens BK
Ojrzynski initially joined Cypriot Second Division club Spartakos Kitiou on loan for the 2024–25 season?
But he was recalled less than two months into his spell there due to administrative errors from both clubs, which led to him not receiving international clearance.
He has now joined Utsiktens BK, with Liverpool confirming the move in a statement.
“Liverpool goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski has joined Utsiktens BK on loan,” a club statement read.
“The 22-year-old will spend the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign with the Swedish second-tier club.”
The transfer appears to have been completed just before the Swedish transfer window closed on March 25th, giving Utsiktens BK a significant boost to their goalkeeping department.
The Gothenburg-based club had been searching for another goalkeeper since signing Tom Amos, formerly of IFK Göteborg, on a free transfer last month.
According to reports, Utsiktens BK and Liverpool reached an agreement for Ojrzy?ski’s services in the final hours of the transfer window.
The 6’5? (196cm) goalkeeper will now compete with Amos for the starting position as Utsiktens prepare for their Superettan campaign, which begins this Saturday against Örgryte.
The loan to Utsiktens BK is not Ojrzy?ski’s first loan spell away from Liverpool having had experience at the likes of Welsh side Caernarfon Town and Dutch outfit Den Bosch in recent years.
