Much has been made of the potential outgoings at Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
Xavi Simons claim
RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons is on Liverpool's radar ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports Germany
The attacking midfielder has been tipped to move away from Leipzig at the end of the season, despite only joining the club on a permanent basis recently.
Having cost just £48m plus add-ons, Simons could bring in a whopping profit in the summer, with it reported that Leipzig has slapped a £68.6m price tag on his head
At 22, the Netherlands international has plenty of potential to grow into and can play in a number of positions across the forward line.
Darwin Nunez stance
Portuguese outlet A Bola have claimed that Benfica could miss out on €5m from Liverpool should Nunez fail to be named in one more starting line-up
The report claims that they received €5m when the striker reached 10 starts in the league and Champions League, with another €5m at 35 games and another €5m at 60.
Nunez currently sits at 59 starts but his 60th has been a long-time coming with Slot not starting him since early February
The ECHO, though, understands that there is no suggestion his absence from the starting 11 is due to financial reasons.
But as reported by the ECHO's Ian Doyle on Tuesday morning, Nunez's future is shrouded in uncertainty with the Saudi Pro League likely to make another attempt to lure the player away in the forthcoming transfer window.
