Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to Denmark to observe Liverpool-linked Omar Marmoush.
The club continues to be linked with various names as the January transfer window approaches.
Marmoush, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and is also said to be on Liverpool's radar, was watched by United during Frankfurt's Europa League win against FC Midtjylland, according to The Mirror.
Nottingham Forest made two unsuccessful bids for Marmoush in the summer, and Frankfurt are 'hopeful' he will remain until the season's end.
His value has increased to around £50million, but it's reported that the German club could ask for closer to £60m for the 25 year old.
With 15 goals and 11 assists in just 18 appearances this season, Marmoush has become one of Europe's most sought-after players, sparking United's apparent interest, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The Egyptian star made a move to Frankfurt on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 after parting ways with Wolfsburg, and he's set to remain there until 2027.
But despite frequent links with the Reds, Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung has insisted that Liverpool have not made any contact with the club regarding the forward
Meanwhile, he also dismissed the possibility of Marmoush being sold in January as he insisted the Egyptian was happy at the club.
"No, we have no contact with Liverpool regarding Marmoush," he told Win Win
I know the people there but there is nothing, there is no contact with any club regarding the player.
"We do not want to dispense with him, we do not want to sell him, certainly also in January
