Building up to the summer transfer window it is Alexander Isak's name that has dominated talk of Liverpool's next star signing.

However, all chatter around the Newcastle United striker always comes with a warning of the extreme cost he would command.

Three summers ago Liverpool paid £85m (inclusive of add-ons) for Darwin Nunez whilst the Magpies got Isak for £63m.



The former has netted 25 times in 88 Premier League appearances whereas the latter has double the amount of strikes in 11 fewer outings.



Therefore there is absolutely no wonder huge changes at Anfield are being talked up in escalating transfer talk approaching the next opportunity for business.
