Liverpool shared two social media posts about Mohamed Salah on Wednesday evening after an update about the player's future emerged.
As the ECHO reported, Salah is close to agreeing on a new contract with the Reds after a breakthrough in talks.
Liverpool are increasingly confident of reaching an agreement, and the forward looks set to sign an extension.

Months of transfer speculation preceded this update, despite the player making clear his desire to stay, as Salah is due to become a free agent this summer.
The expectation is that a deal will materialise after negotiations over contract length and financial remuneration.
These reports broke at 5pm, and an hour later, the club posted a topless photo of Salah smiling during training today across their social media accounts.
They captioned the photo with a crown emoji, a nod to his 'Egyptian King' nickname.
They then shared footage of Salah from the session an hour-and-a-half later.
A short clip shows the forward practising finishing with his right foot.
He first receives a pass from one of the club's coaches, taking a touch with his right foot to set the ball out in front of him before curling it into the bottom corner.
Salah then plays a one-two with a coach out of frame on the edge of the arena and fires a strike across the goalkeeper into the opposite side of the goal.

A third effort starts with the forward holding off a coach applying pressure from behind with a pad.
Using his right arm to hold off the defender, he receives the ball with the outside of his left foot before taking another quick touch on the turn to spin his marker before picking out the bottom left corner.
Salah then repeats the second sequence, firing off another effort following a one-two towards the same bottom corner.
However, he erred this time, the shot thumping into the post.
But with the goalkeeper unable to dive, the rebound ricocheted off the upright and into his left leg while turning around to see where the shot went.
As a result, it bounced into the back of the net as Salah fell to the ground.
