When Jorrel Hato was spotted at Anfield last month, the transfer rumour mill naturally burst into life.
The defender later revealed he was in attendance to watch Liverpool take on Ipswich Town after being invited to the game by Ryan Gravenberch.
Now, though, it is being claimed that the Reds have been sending scouts to watch the 18-year-old in action.
According to TBR Football, Liverpool have been sending scouts to watch Hato as they have an interest in him.
The report goes on to claim that Liverpool scouts were in attendance to watch Hato star for Ajax against Galatasaray in the Champions League and the Eredivisie win over rivals Feyenoord last week.
It is also claimed that Chelsea have been monitoring the 18-year-old's progress throughout the campaign.

Hato has made 33 appearances for Ajax this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists from left-back.

Speaking to the BBC last month, Arne Slot confirmed Liverpool will strengthen their squad in the summer after a quiet first two transfer windows as Reds head coach.
