Liverpool have scouted Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens this season, it has been claimed.
However, according to BILD, Dortmund would only contemplate letting go of the forward if they receive a bid of €100million (£83m).
And Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update on the 20-year-old.
He claims that the Reds have scouted Gittens, with Chelsea also interested in resigning him.
"He's been on Chelsea’s list for months now, Liverpool have been scouting him too," Romano said in his latest newsletter for GiveMeSport.
"It's going to be interesting to see Borussia Dortmund's stance, but for sure JBG will be one to watch in the summer.
There's already movement in terms of calls and inquiries."
While Gittens' future at Dortmund remains uncertain, Liverpool have received clarity over Mohamed Salah's on Merseyside.
The Reds are growing increasingly optimistic about securing a deal with the Egyptian that would see the forward extend his stay at Anfield beyond this season.
The forward is one of three Liverpool players whose contracts expire this summer, leaving them free to depart the club without a transfer fee.
Salah has previously expressed his wish to remain at Liverpool, where he has become a key player first under Jurgen Klopp and now Arne Slot, since his move from Roma nearly eight years ago.

Now, it is anticipated that Liverpool will reach an agreement with the 32-year-old following discussions over both the duration of the contract and the financial terms.
