Jones, 24, started in a midfield three alongside Declan Rice and Bellingham as England beat Albania 2-0 at Wembley on Friday.
He then came on as a second-half substitute against Latvia.
It has been a valuable international break for Jones, who has helped the Three Lions claim six points from six in two World Cup qualifiers.
The same can be said for Real Madrid sensation Bellingham, who played an integral part as England got off to a perfect start in their qualification campaign.

The 21-year-old former Borussia Dortmund midfielder grabbed an assist against Albania and was unfortunate not to score against Latvia having had six shots on goal.
Despite that, Bellingham took to Instagram on Monday night to assess England's start to World Cup qualifying.
"2/2, start as we mean to go on!" Bellingham, who has 38.8 million followers, said.
In the comments section, Jones sent a message to Bellingham and simply posted a flexed biceps emoji.
Former Liverpool star Jordan Henderson, meanwhile, put a love heart emoji.
Aston Villa duo Marcus Rashford and Morgan Rogers were among the others to comment on Bellingham's post.
