Liverpool defender Andy Robertson joked that he 'couldn't be bothered' to speak about Mohamed Salah after his match-winning display against Manchester City.
Salah scored the opening goal and assisted another as the Reds took a giant step towards Premier League glory at the Etihad Stadium.
The winger was on hand to turn the ball home in the early exchanges, wrapping up a smart corner routine to put Liverpool in the driving seat.
He turned provider before the break, setting up Dominik Szoboszlai to double his side's advantage and consolidate all three points.
Salah is now on 25 goals for the season, having chipped in with another 16 assists.
He is enjoying one of the greatest individual campaigns in Premier League history and continues to exceed expecations on a weekly basis.
Robertson was quizzed on Salah's brilliance after the final whistle and joked that he was getting tired of praising his Egyptian team-mate.
"I can't be bothered talking about him, to be honest!
We are very happy to have him, that's for sure."
The result saw Liverpool move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, having played one game more than second-placed Arsenal.
It came after the Gunners dropped points against West Ham on Saturday, with Jarrod Bowen's headed effort securing a famous victory for Graham Potter's side.
"Yeah, it feels like a big win," added Robertson.
To go 11 points clear is good for us.
Today was a fine performance from all of us.
"We know our fans will get carried away with this performance and we have always said that if that happens we are usually doing something right on the pitch.
Certainly it won't be on us to get carried away until we are champions."
