Darwin Nunez was also part of the team that trained after being out for the 2-1 victory over West Ham United on Sunday, due to a brief illness.

Alexander-Arnold’s involvement with the squad on Wednesday implies the right-back is closing in on a return to action.
Slot has called upon some of the club’s youngsters to join the senior squad in training, with Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni amongst those allowed to do so.
