Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bolster their defense ahead of next season, and Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté has emerged as a prime target.
According to ESPN, The French giants are eager to secure a long-term defensive partner for Marquinhos and see Konaté as an ideal fit for their evolving backline.
With the Brazilian turning 31 in May, PSG are planning for the future, and the addition of Konaté would provide both immediate reinforcement and long-term stability.
Since joining Liverpool from RB Leipzig in 2021 for £36 million, Konaté has developed into a key player for the Merseyside club.
The club has already offered him a new deal, but Konaté has been coy about his long-term future.
While Liverpool would prefer to keep him, persistent injury issues have prevented Konaté from playing more than 22 Premier League games in a single season.
