Harvey Elliott was clearly in pain as he left the pitch following the final whistle in the Carabao Cup final.

Elliott emerged as a second-half substitute and assisted Federico Chiesa for Liverpool's only goal of the game in injury time, but in the final minute of the match he was slammed to the ground by Joelinton, who escaped punishment despite a VAR check.

The young Liverpool midfielder had to be helped off the pitch and was not seeing walking up the Wembley steps to collect his runners-up medal.
