Fans are chanting in support of Virgil van Dijk

Incredible footage captured following Liverpool's Premier League title win shows fans celebrating in Concert Square, letting off flares and singing “Oh When the Reds Go Marching In” as well as the Virgil van Dijk chant.

The video was recorded after the Reds secured a record-equalling 20th league title with a 5-1 victory over Tottenham at Anfield.

Fans poured out of McCooley's and other packed venues in the square to celebrate Liverpool's success, waving flares and celebrating joyously.

Numerous Reds supporters were seen bouncing around the square and sitting on each other's shoulders in a vibrant scene of celebration.

They proved to be in great spirits, joining together in a chorus of various chants.

Many fans filmed the moment on their phones as the excited crowd sang on the steps of the city-centre bar.

McCooley's, with its big screens, has become a popular venue for Liverpool supporters.

They were glued to the screens as they cheered on goals from Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, and Alexis Mac Allister, alongside an own goal that sealed the victory after Dominic Solanke's opening goal for Spurs.

Liverpool will be officially presented with their trophy on May 25, when they host Crystal Palace in the final game of the season.

This occasion is sure to be remembered as one of the most significant days in the club's history, especially since supporters were unable to celebrate their 2020 triumph properly due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
